LCG, March 6, 2026--Entergy yesterday announced approximately $5 billion in total savings for 2.3 million customers in Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi resulting from data center customer agreements in those states. Entergy, which completed its first data center customer agreement in 2024, projects the customer savings over the next 20 years and after the regulatory approval or acknowledgement of the public service commissions in those states.

LCG, March 5, 2026--The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) announced yesterday that it has authorized the staff to issue TerraPower’s subsidiary, US SFR Owner, a construction permit for the company’s Kemmerer Power Station Unit 1 commercial nuclear power plant in Kemmerer, Wyoming.

Siemens and Pattern Energy Complete Agreement for Ocotillo Wind Project
LCG, November 20, 2012--Siemens Energy announced that it has completed an agreement with Pattern Energy for the 265-MW, Ocotillo Wind Energy Facility in Southern California near the border with Mexico. The project will include 112 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 2.3 MW.
The scope of supply encompasses delivery, technical field assistance and commissioning of the wind turbines, including a two-year service and maintenance contract.
The Ocotillo Wind Energy project is under construction on public lands administered by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). The BLM issued a Record of Decision approving the project on May 11, 2012 and issued the right-of-way (ROW) grant on May 11, 2012. The majority of the project is scheduled to commence commercial operation in 2012, with the remainder going live during the first half of 2013.
"Our partnership with Siemens has been a strong source of jobs in the United States," said the CEO of Pattern Energy. "Our Ocotillo Wind project in California is using Siemens wind turbines with towers, blades and nacelles that are made in America."
The Ocotillo Wind project is the tenth project completed, in development or under contract between Siemens and Pattern Energy, totaling more than 800 wind turbine units.
