LCG, September 17, 2026--INNIO N.V. today announced that the company secured an order from a U.S. energy company for 450 MW of power infrastructure. INNIO’s Jenbacher J624 containerized gas engine can produce approximately 4.5 MW, and the engines will be supplied to support off-grid, alternative power solutions for large-scale data center projects in North America. The engines are expected to be delivered by 2028.

Resource adequacy analysis for the region is critical during extreme summer loading conditions as the reserves have tightened because of recent retirements. On top of this, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the society’s response to it, are continuing to cause observed impacts to the power system and market.
