LCG, October 23, 2026--INNIO N.V. yesterday announced a 620 MW follow-on order from a developer and operator of mega-scale data center campuses in the United States. Together with the customer's 1.1 GW order announced previously in July, the new order brings cumulative orders from the customer to approximately 1.72 GW this year.

LCG, October 21, 2026--The Nuclear Company today announced a proposed nuclear energy campus in Kentucky that could potentially provide 6.6 GW of electric generating capacity. The Prosperity One nuclear energy campus, located along the Ohio River in eastern Kentucky, could accommodate up to six Westinghouse AP1000 reactors and would be the largest nuclear power generation site in the nation if fully constructed.

SDG&E Selects Mitsubishi Power's Emerald Storage Solution for New Storage System
LCG, March 18, 2022--San Diego Gas & Electric Company (SDG&E) has awarded Mitsubishi Power an order for a 10 MW / 60 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) for its Pala-Gomez Creek Energy Storage Project in Pala, California. The project will add capacity to help meet high energy demands, support grid reliability and operational flexibility, maximize use of renewable energy, and help prevent outages during peak demand.
SDG&E’s Director of Advanced Clean Technology stated, “SDG&E is committed to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2045. We are increasing our portfolio of energy storage assets to reach this goal. These assets enhance grid reliability and operational flexibility while maximizing our use of abundant renewable energy sources in California.”
Mitsubishi Power’s Emerald storage solution for SDG&E includes full turnkey design, engineering, procurement, and construction, plus a 10-year, long-term service agreement. The project is scheduled to be online in early 2023.
The BESS solution will repower an existing energy storage site. The design includes lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery chemistry for added physical safety. The storage solution will include Mitsubishi Power’s Emerald Integrated Plant Controller, which is an Energy Management System (EMS) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system with real-time BESS operation and a monitoring/supervisory control platform.

The BESS project is Mitsubishi Power’s eighth in California and will increase the total capacity to 280 MW / 1,140 MWh of storage to help meet California’s clean energy goals.
