Data Center Customer Adds 620 MW Order for INNIO's J624 Gas Engines

LCG, October 23, 2026--INNIO N.V. yesterday announced a 620 MW follow-on order from a developer and operator of mega-scale data center campuses in the United States. Together with the customer's 1.1 GW order announced previously in July, the new order brings cumulative orders from the customer to approximately 1.72 GW this year.

The Nuclear Company Announces a 6.6 GW Nuclear Project to Commence Construction by 2030 in Kentucky

LCG, October 21, 2026--The Nuclear Company today announced a proposed nuclear energy campus in Kentucky that could potentially provide 6.6 GW of electric generating capacity. The Prosperity One nuclear energy campus, located along the Ohio River in eastern Kentucky, could accommodate up to six Westinghouse AP1000 reactors and would be the largest nuclear power generation site in the nation if fully constructed.

Con Edison Faces State Challenge over Electric Rates

LCG, Aug. 24, 2000--New York State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer said in a brief statement this morning that he has filed an action against Consolidated Edison Inc. challenging the rates charged by its utility subsidiary for electricity this summer.

Alleging that Consolidated Edison Co. of New Yorks electricity prices this summer are about 30 percent higher than they were last summer, Spitzer said he wants to force the utility to roll back prices to last years level.

Con Edison has admitted that some $22 million of the extra money it has collected has been spent on replacement power for that lost by the shutdown in February of its Indian Point 2 nuclear power plant. Last week, the utility filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York seeking an injunction against enforcement of a law that would prevent recovery from ratepayers of the $22 million.

Spitzers statement did not disclose the nature of his "action" or the venue in which it was filed. Those and other details will be provided at a news conference in his New York City office, the statement said.
