RWE Commissions the 200-MW Stoneridge Solar Project in Texas

LCG, November 26, 2025--RWE announced today the commissioning of the Stoneridge Solar project, located in Milam County, Texas. The project capacity is 200 MW of solar power, plus a battery energy storage system (BESS) that provides 100 MW (200 MWh) of battery storage capacity. The BESS improves the supply of short-term, reliable, affordable electricity in ERCOT.

Oklo and Siemens Energy Sign Agreement to Accelerate Power Conversion System for New SMR in Idaho

LCG, November 19, 2025--Oklo Inc. and Siemens Energy announced today that the parties have signed a binding contract for the design and delivery of the power conversion system for Oklo’s Aurora-INL (Idaho National Laboratory) nuclear small modular reactor (SMR). The agreement authorizes Siemens Energy to begin engineering and design work to expedite procurement of long-lead components and to initiate the manufacturing process for the power conversion system. Oklo’s expertise in advanced fission technology will be combined with Siemens Energy’s extensive industry experience with steam turbine and generator systems, with the ultimate goal of generating carbon-free, reliable electricity.

David R. Andrews has been elected a director of both PG&E Corp. and its utility subsidiary Pacific Gas & Electric Co. He is a partner and former chairman of the San Francisco law firm of McCutchen, Doyle, Brown & Enersen. He returned to private law practice recently after serving in the public sector for three years as the legal adviser to the U.S. Department of State and Secretary Madeleine Albright.

Kevin Burke has been named president of Consolidated Edison Co. of New York Inc. He is currently president of Con Edison subsidiary Orange & Rockland Utilities Inc., a position he has held since the acquisition of O&R last year. Steve Bram, currently vice president for central operations with O&R, will replace Burke as president of the subsidiary.

C. Wayne Fox, most recently vice president for regulatory affairs and general services, has been promoted to president of Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. and Great Plains Natural Gas Co., both of which are divisions of MDU Resources Group Inc. Fox replaces Ronald D. Tipton who will continue to be chief executive officer of the two companies.

Retired Admiral J. L. Johnson will become a senior vice president of Dominion Energy Inc. on September 18. Dominion Energy is the electric power production and natural gas transportation and storage subsidiary of Dominion Resources Inc., which is also the parent company of Virginia Electric & Power Co. Johnson recently stepped down as U.S. Chief of Naval Operations -- the nations top sailor.

Richard A. Espeland, human resources manager, has been promoted to vice president for human resources by MDU Resources Group Inc., the parent company for Montana-Dakota Utilities Inc. He has been with the firm for 11 years.

Scott Morris has been appointed president of the Avista Utilities unit of Avista Corp., replacing Edward Turner, who has resigned. He most recently was general manager of Avista's Oregon and Northern California utility businesses.

Kelly Norwood has been named vice president and general manager for energy resources by Avista Corp.s utilities subsidiary. In the newly created position he will be responsible for resource planning, rate strategies, resource optimization, wholesale marketing, risk management and resource accounting.

Morgan K. O'Brien has been named chief operating officer of DQE Inc. He most recently has been executive vice president for corporate development, responsible for subsidiary Duquesne Light Co.s generation swap and power plant asset sale and DQE's recent centralization of administrative functions.

Greg Silvestri, executive vice president for operations with fuel cell maker Plug Power Inc., has been named chief operating officer of the firm and will manage the company's day-to-day operations effective immediately, following the amicable resignation of Gary Mittleman, president and chief executive. The company said it has begun a comprehensive search for a new president and chief executive.

Gabriel B. Togneri has been promoted to vice president for investor relations by PG&E Corp. He joined subsidiary utility Pacific Gas & Electric Co. 20 years ago in its economics and forecasting unit and most recently was assistant treasurer responsible for financing and cash management.

Deaths

Rangarajan Kumaramangalam, India's minister of power, died Wednesday at age 48 after being in a coma for 10 days, the government-run All India Institute of Medical Sciences said. He wasadmitted to the hospital August 12 suffering from myeloid leukemia, a rare form of cancer of theblood.
