LCG, March 25, 2026--Arbor Energy today announced an agreement with GridMarket, an energy and infrastructure project facilitator, to deliver up to 5 GW of zero-emission power starting in 2029. GridMarket supports large energy users, including data centers, manufacturers, and logistics providers, with securing reliable and cost-effective power.

LCG, March 18, 2026--The EIA released a new "In-depth Analysis" of the potential impact of faster-than-expected near-term growth in data center power demand on power generation and wholesale prices on March 12. The analysis models the lower 48 states through 2027 and compares results to its base case scenario. Key takeaway from this sensitivity analysis is the potential increase in fossil fuels in some regions and potentially a significant increase in wholesale prices in ERCOT.

Lloyd Cluff, geosciences director for Pacific Gas & Electric Co., will receivethis year's John Wesley Powell Award, the U.S. Geological Survey's highest honor. Cluff will be recognized for his work in improving seismic safety and reliability of gas and electric systems.Dean Jones has been named vice president for customer services and rates by the Central and Texas Gas pipeline systems business unit of Williams Gas Pipeline. He succeeds Kim Cocklin, who was recently promoted to senior vice president and general manager of the South-Central unit. Jones will report to Cocklin and be based in Owensboro, Ky.Edward M. McKenna has been named vice president and chief financial officer of ISO New England Inc. He most recently was chief financial officer of J. Fletcher Creamer & Son Inc., a New Jersey-based construction company, and had earlier been controller of Orange & Rockland Utilities Inc.Chris Olert, a 27-year veteran newsman with both print and broadcast experience, has been named assistant media director of Consolidated Edison Inc. He most recently was Daybook Editor for the Associated Press.Jeffrey L. Pelusi has been named vice president of European operations for the nuclear automation business of Westinghouse Electric Co. He will also continue to direct the Temelin Project, a major undertaking for which Westinghouse is providing the most advanced instrumentation and control as well as fuel for two Soviet-designed nuclear reactors in the Czech Republic.William D. Rockford has been named to the board of directors of Teco Energy Inc., parent holding company for Tampa Electric Co. He is a former Chase Manhattan executive, with a 28-year career specializing in global project finance and the power industry.
