LCG, June 26, 2025--Invenergy today announced that they and Meta Platforms, Inc. have signed four new clean energy agreements that total an additional 791 MW of procured solar and wind capacity to support Meta's near-term operations, data center growth, and clean energy goals.

LCG, June 23, 2025--The Governor of New York today directed the New York Power Authority (NYPA) to develop and construct an advanced nuclear power plant in upstate New York to deliver zero-emission power that supports a reliable and affordable electric grid. NYPA will lead the effort to develop at least one new nuclear energy facility with a combined capacity of at least one gigawatt (GW) of electricity, either alone or in partnership with private entities. The directive builds on the Governor’s 2025 State of the State to develop nuclear energy plans in New York.

He most recently was the general manager of human resources.J. Morris Brown has been promoted to vice president for operations by USEC Inc., the world's leading supplier of enriched uranium fuel for commercial nuclear power plants. Brown has been general manager of USEC's Portsmouth, Ohio, plant since March 1998.Robert J. Dineen has retired from the board of directors of Kansas City Power & Light Co. He was elected to the board in 1987 while also serving as president and chief executive of The Marley Company.Judi Johansen will on December 1 move from the Bonneville Power Administration where she is administrator and chief executive to PacifiCorp, where she will assume the position of executive vice president for regulation and external affairs.Randall E. Mehrberg will become senior vice president and general counsel of Exelon Corp. effective December 1. He joined the Company in 1990 and held various positions in regulatory affairs before his most recent position as vice president for regulatory affairs. Sir Ian Robinson will retire as chief executive of Scottish Power Plc next April, and will be succeeded by Ian Russell, who is currently deputy chief executive, a position akin to chief operating officer. Robinson joined Scottish Power as chief executive in 1995.Barbara Roma has been named vice president for customer services byNew Jersey Natural Gas Co. A 33-year veteran of the company, she most recently led the redesign of the company's customer care operation. Elaine Weinstein has been elected senior vice president for human resources by KeySpan Corp. Her current responsibilities include responsibility for compensation and benefits, health services, performance management, and succession planning. She will continue her position as the Ethics Officer at KeySpan.
