LCG, April 22, 2026--The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) yesterday announced two new, 20-year agreements for a 225 MW/900 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) project in East Tennessee and for a 200 MW/800 MWh BESS project in northern Alabama. Both projects are planned to commence commercial operations in 2029.

LCG, April 15, 2026--Suniva announced yesterday that it has entered agreements to bring a state-of-the-art 4.5 GW solar cell manufacturing facility to Laurens, South Carolina. The new facility, combined with Suniva’s existing facility at its headquarters in metro Atlanta, will bring the company’s total annual domestic solar cell manufacturing capacity to over 5.5 GW.

All changes are effective June 1.- Raymond P. Necci, vice president for nuclear technical services at Millstone Power Station in Waterford, Conn., will become vice president for nuclear operations.
- J. Alan Price will succeed Necci as vice president for nuclear technical services at Millstone. He is presently director of nuclear engineering for Dominion Energy's Virginia nuclear power stations, North Anna and Surry.
- Eugene S. Grecheck vice president for nuclear operations at Millstone, will become vicepresident for nuclear support services in Richmond, Va.
