LCG, October 23, 2026--INNIO N.V. yesterday announced a 620 MW follow-on order from a developer and operator of mega-scale data center campuses in the United States. Together with the customer's 1.1 GW order announced previously in July, the new order brings cumulative orders from the customer to approximately 1.72 GW this year.

LCG, October 21, 2026--The Nuclear Company today announced a proposed nuclear energy campus in Kentucky that could potentially provide 6.6 GW of electric generating capacity. The Prosperity One nuclear energy campus, located along the Ohio River in eastern Kentucky, could accommodate up to six Westinghouse AP1000 reactors and would be the largest nuclear power generation site in the nation if fully constructed.

New York Okays Entergy's Purchase of Indian Point Nuke
LCG, Aug. 30, 2001--The New York State Public Service Commission yesterday approved the sale of Consolidated Edison Co.'s Indian Point 1 and 2 nuclear plants to Entergy Nuclear Operations, a unit of New Orleans-based Entergy Corp.That approval comes days after the Nuclear Regulatory Commission approved the transfer of the Indian Point licenses from Con Edison to Entergy.The New York approval includes both the 950 megawatt Indian Point Unit 2 which is operational and the shuttered Indian Point Unit 1. Though Indian Point unit 2 was operating at 100 percent of capacity this morning, it had suffered numerous steam generator leaks in recent years, culminating in a small release of radioactive steam into the atmosphere last February.The Nuclear Regulatory Commission told Con Edison to quit putting band aids on the leaky steam generators and replace them, which the utility did.In addition to the two reactors, Entergy will get three gas turbines, plant infrastructure and the real estate in Buchanan, N.Y. on which it all sits.Entergy, in turn, will sell all of the output of Indian Point Unit 2 to Con Edison through 2004, with an option to extend the deal through the end of the decade.The New York approval was the last hurdle for the deal.
