LCG, January 15, 2026--Origis Energy today announced that Meta and the company signed a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) for the 240-MW (303-MWdc) Greyhound A Solar project in West Odessa, Texas. The Greyhound A Solar project is scheduled to achieve commercial operations by mid-2026.

LCG, January 13, 2026--Oglethorpe Power today announced it has selected Kiewit Corporation through its subsidiary, The Industrial Company (TIC), as the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) partner for its new combined-cycle (CC), natural gas-fired power plant in Monroe County, Georgia. The new, 1,425-MW facility represents a capital investment of more than $3 billion. Commercial operation of the new generation capacity is planned to commence in 2029.

Dave Jeronimus has been named senior vice president for environmental services by Minnesota Power Co. He joined Minnesota Power in 1974 as an assistant engineer and was promoted to positions of increasing responsibility, including vice president for environmental services in 1999.John E. Schneider has been named chief financial officer of Semco Energy Inc., replacing Sebastian Coppola, who left the company Oct. 19. Schneider had been chief operating officer of Semco Energy Gas Co., the Michigan division of its natural gas distribution utility, since February of last year.Douglas Whisenant has been named president and chief executive officer of the interstate natural gas pipeline division of The Williams Companies Inc. Until recently, he was senior vice president and general manager of Williams' Salt Lake City-based Kern River and Northwest Pipeline.
