LCG, January 21, 2026--Sage Geosystems, the company pioneering Pressure Geothermal, today announced that it closed over $97 million in Series B funding to advance its geothermal power generation and energy storage solutions, including its first commercial next-generation geothermal power generation facility. TVA Wind Park Under 20-Year Agreement
LCG, Jan. 14, 2002--The Buffalo Mountain wind park, now consisting of three 660-kilowatt turbines near Oliver Springs, Tenn., will expand to a potential capacity of 29 megawatts, the Tennessee Valley Authority has announced.The output of the facility will be sold under a 20-year power purchase agreement with Invenergy, a Chicago-based firm."TVA built the first commercial wind-powered turbines in the southeastern United States, helping launch a successful partnership with local power distributors to give the people of the Tennessee Valley the choice to buy electricity generated from renewable energy sources," said Glenn McCullough, Jr., the TVA's chairman.TVA has initiated a Green Power Switch® program, which offers the agency's customers the opportunity to purchase power from wind, solar and methane gas sources.
