LCG, July 2, 2025--Alliant Energy today announced plans to add up to 1,000 MW of wind energy generating capacity in Iowa to meet demand and ensure reliable, affordable energy for its customers. The plans are included in a filing with the Iowa Utilities Commission (IUC), and the company anticipates a decision from the IUC in the first quarter of 2026.

Noble Environmental Power Completes Three Wind Farms in New York
LCG, January 28, 2009--Noble Environmental Power announced that it completed three wind farm projects in New York totaling 328 MW of new electric generating capacity. Construction began last June on the three projects.
The three wind projects and corresponding generating capacities are Altona, 97.5 MW; Chateaugay, 106.5 MW; and Wethersfield, 124 MW. All three projects employ the General Electric 1.5 MW 1.5SLE wind turbine.
