LCG's data models for Eastern Interconnect, WECC,CAISO and ERCOT
The data model includes all the operational data for generators, wind and solar profiles,
hourly load profiles at zonal level and their distribution at bus level, transmission line
characteristics, transformers, phase shifters, and contingencies. It also includes fuel
price forecasts for future years.
GENERATORS
Capacity, operating characteristics, engineering data, costs and stranded asset value.
In addition, information is available for new units under construction and announced as
well as forecast of new market entry.
LOADS
The Table of Loads contains the current year's monthly actuals for peak demand and energy
for each region and area and corresponding monthly forecasts for the following two years,
and annual projections for the third through tenth year.
FUELS
Current year's actuals and the forecasted prices for the future years.
TRANSMISSION
The Table of Transmission Intertie contain information on regional and area import and export
capabilities, line voltage ratings and distance in miles between major connection points.
